Lucerne is located in the heart of Switzerland on a beautiful lake ringed by peaks such as Mt. Pilatus. Its best known landmark is the Chapel Bridge, originally built in 1333, with artwork dating to the 18th century. It was seriously damaged in a 1993 fire (not our fault) and faithfully restored.
